Pétanque tournament software and online registration

Petanque-Online is a tournament platform from Germany. Clubs and federations use it for online registration, for running tournaments and for a live link for players and spectators. Everything runs in the browser, nothing to install.

You decide whether registration runs through us or whether you only use the tournament software.

Before the tournament

Online registration

  • Your own tournament page with tournament details and a registration link
  • Teams register online and receive a confirmation by e-mail
  • Confirm entries automatically or select the teams yourself
  • Waiting list once the field is full, with automatic promotion when a team withdraws
  • Changes and cancellations through a link, without calling the organiser
  • Entry fee by bank transfer with a payment reference per team, the place is confirmed once paid
  • Participant list as an Excel file at any time
On the day

Tournament software

  • Tournament management in English, in the browser, nothing to install
  • Automatic draw, court allocation, byes and ranking
  • Use the registered teams directly or import them from Excel
  • Teams enter their scores on their phones, the opponent confirms, the organiser only steps in when the teams disagree
  • Several people work on the same tournament at the same time
  • Printouts of draws, court lists, team cards, rankings and the tournament report
  • Live link for spectators in German, English, French and Spanish

The software also works without our registration. Importing the teams from Excel is enough.

How Petanque-Online is used

European competition

CEP EuroCup

28th EuroCup 2026 in Sin-le-Noble, 5 to 8 November, with teams from all over Europe. Four rounds of Swiss system, then EuroCup and FedCup knockout, with draw, results and standings live in four languages.

International tournament

Holstentor tournament, Travemünde

512 doubles teams in one day, with online registration, team cards with QR codes and scores reported by the teams themselves. More than 7,700 people followed the tournament through the live link.

Regional and local

Club and federation tournaments

Club championship, open weekend tournament, ranking tournament or supermêlée on club night. Small events can be run entirely on phones, larger ones with registration, waiting list and entry fee.

Formats

All formats are designed specifically for pétanque tournaments.

Show examples
  • Swiss system with Buchholz and fine Buchholz tie-breaks, bye rules and seeding list
  • Knockout with A/B and A/B/C/D brackets (consolation tournaments), cadrage, pre-draw and seeding pots
  • Preliminary rounds followed by a knockout stage, with or without groups
  • Supermêlée with a fresh draw every round, maximum mixing or best against best
  • Singles, doubles, triples, mixed formations and team competitions
  • Court plan and court allocation by lot or by waiting time

For federations we also build custom tournament formats that are not available publicly. So far for the CEP, the German Pétanque Federation (DPV) and several regional federations.
